2016 Annual Poem

In the news, this year and now appearing.

the sparkling snow and white tail deer,

with a distracted camper no longer peering

… through his telescopic lens aperture.

Meanwhile, dashing through the snow

A hunter, was lost in a forest. Dense,

and disconnected to the needs of a doe

…concerned only with a hydraulic fence.

Jingling deer calls rang at the camper’s side.

Attracting other ladies and gents,

who came along on the tedious ride,

…. to debate, ad nauseam, about these historic moments.

There was another one horse, open sleigh,

asleep, tired and tense,

that carried another hunter, who fell behind a day,

…taking the body politic defense.

Singing, over the fields, I go

with a wish for some hope and common sense,

to cheer on the mystic congregation so,

…they can smell the aromatic frankincense.

When bells on bob tails are ringing,

Shepherds, it’s time for prayer!

Even when times are troubling,

…we should remain in good charismatic cheer.

Attempting … jingle bells all the way!

Without any pretense,

I hope for healthy goodness

for you,

this year

and forth hence,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me [Jesus] ye might have peace.

In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I [Jesus] have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
